Job description

DigiClimber.com is recruiting for the role of iOS Developer to help develop market-leading softwares. The iOS Developer is responsible for working as part of a team whose overall objective is to develop and deploy new functionality for the clients.

Responsibilities include the following:
  • Proficiency in building and delivering iOS apps
  • Have experience building iOS applications in a production environment using Swift
  • Understanding of CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
  • Experience working closely with designers, systems engineers, and software engineers in a collaborative development environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Stay up-to-date and experiment with the latest iOS technologies
  • Have a product-focused mindset
  • Think critically about how your work connects to the business strategy and overall vision
  • You can collaborate with iOS, Android, and Server engineers in order to ship features
  • Have a passion or interest in the consumer health tech space and want to build a unique user experience that is the first of its kind
 

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering projects to deadlines

  • 1-4 years of professional development experience

  • Experience in the EdTech space is a plus

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0) 

  • Proficient with Objective-C or Swift

  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as HealthKit, Core Data, CoreML and WatchOS

  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UX/UI standards

  • Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

  • Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred

  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

  • Knack for benchmarking and optimization

  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
